Urns are specialized vessels which may house cremains permanently or temporarily.

• Can be made from many different types of materials; metal, stone, wood,
   porcelain, glass, acrylics or plastics.
• Vary in design from simple cube forms, to vase styles to lost wax
castings, to one of a kind artwork hand-crafted by artisans.
• May be designed for specific function depending on the choice of
final disposition. (Note: Some cemeteries may require the urn to be an
outer internment receptacle if burial is chosen).

Because of the wide range of selection, urns typically may be low cost, moderately priced, or expensive. See your funeral director for details.
